Consultant

Consultants are specialists who are paid for solutions. They diagnose the problem and propose a solution. They often implement business strategies as well. Coaches also focus on solutions, but draw solutions out of the client. Coaches support the client in creating a plan of action and implementing it. Ultimately, clients gain long-term problem-solving capacity.

What is a Consultant?

A Consultant is an experienced professional who reviews a defined concern, situation, process, or practice and provides an independent perspective.

The Consultant listens, inquires, excavates, and provides insights. Sometimes there is a problem. Sometimes there is an opportunity for improvement. And sometimes you simply need confirmation that what you are already doing makes sense.

Consultant Scenarios

Hiring a Consultant is the best option if you want to validate your current trajectory, untangle a specific problem, or simply need an expert to tell you if you are on the right track.

  • You are a founder or leader who attended a professional event, spoke with peers, or encountered another way of working and now want an experienced second opinion on whether your current process should change.
  • You suspect something within your business is taking too long, creating unnecessary work, or producing inconsistent results, but you cannot determine where the actual problem begins.
  • You are considering changing an existing process, system, vendor, or business practice and want someone to independently review the situation before you commit resources to the change.

The Consultant Session

The Consultant is booked by the hour at $150 per hour.

This time is completely dedicated to unpacking your current situation, excavating the root of the mental knots, and giving you concrete feedback.

The Consultant Session Includes

  • Session – A focused, one-hour consultation to talk through your ideas, ask questions, and gain direct, honest feedback on your current dilemma.
  • Breviary – A written document that outlines our session and includes the key points, highlights, and takeaways.
