What is a Mentor?
They are someone who has expertise in a particular area and shares that learning with the mentee. Mentors provide knowledge, advice, guide, correct, and encourage in their field of expertise.
A Mentor works within your profession or has worked within your profession.
Mentorship Scenarios
Hiring a Mentor is the best option if you want someone that is by your side to assist, guide, and solve together instead of simply taking directions.
- You’re an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or lead assistant, but need assistance with scaling the company or team, developing or implementing a new system or solution.
- You’re a junior manager or employee who has been given a new responsibility, project, or process to manage, but you are unsure whether your approach is correct and would like private guidance from someone with experience before presenting your work to leadership.
- You’re struggling with a process, workload, or system at work and need a confidential place to explain what is happening, determine whether the challenge is normal for your role, and work through practical ways to improve or restructure it.
The Mentorship Session
The Mentorship Session is a two hour session for $150.
You do not have to use the full two hours, but the time has been allocated to ensure that we have ample time to digest and solve with one another.
The Mentorship Session Includes
- Session – The mentorship session includes up to two full hours which is an ample amount of time to decompress and fully untangle the current dilemmas on your plate.
- Breviary – A written document that outlines our session and includes the key points, highlights, and take aways.
- Companion Guide – A written guidebook that outlines the dilemma then details how to solve the dilemma. It includes practical tips, ample space for annotations, frequently asked questions with answers along with any additional resources you may need.
- Professional Compensation Waiver – If your place of employment is covering your cost we do include an outline of what the mentorship includes, the expectations and the goal of the experience along with an invoice. You can simply send this to the correct department within your organization to assist with either receiving the funding or receiving the refund from your company.
