What is Develop?
Develop is the complete construction of an approved solution.
Once the Concept and Design are settled, development turns the approved model into a finished, functioning system or solution.
Develop Scenarios
- You have approved the prototype and want the complete solution professionally built.
- Your organization knows exactly what needs to be created but does not have the internal time, resources, or expertise to construct it.
- You have an existing Concept or Design and need someone to architect and complete the final build.
The Develop Solution
Develop includes the construction, configuration, testing, and completion of the solution according to the approved scope.
At handoff, you receive the completed build along with the documentation, instructional materials, and videos necessary to understand what was created.
A handoff session is also provided to the appropriate members of your team.
Development concludes at handoff. Continued deployment assistance, operational rollout, or staff training belongs to Implement or Adopt.
